The brief was to create an impressional brand by developing an identity that was high end, sleek & sophisticated.

For the logo, the modern typeface features a subtly italicized ‘A’, creating a playful nod to the word ‘Sex’ that encourages people to stop and take a closer look.


The bracket symbols serve as secondary brand marks, playfully referencing ‘SAX’ and symbolizing the curves of a man or woman. Imagine brackets mimic the shape of curves, they can represent an embrace, highlighting the intimacy and connection associated with curves. These brackets can be exaggerated in form to suggest the sensuality of curves, embodying the idea of movement, elegance, and allure.

It plays into the idea that these brackets act as a form of caressing or holding something precious, suggesting care, closeness and sexiness. These brackets are open to interpretation & leave much to the imagination. 

The letter “X” is often associated with mystery, excitement, and sophistication, making it the perfect edition to the branding for ‘SAX’.
